Any city stupid enough to do that will look like Beruit in a very short time.Defunding and disband of the Police is a smart move.
Cities will really burn. It will get out of real control. Shootings will become common place. The UN will be called in to disarm the Citizens. The Floyd Family has contacted the UN for assistance in disarming the Police, so I have read.
That's sadly the agenda.Any city stupid enough to do that will look like Beruit in a very short time.
I will not support kneeling during the anthem. To me that is almost akin to not bowing your head during prayer. I don't care if it's my team or not. @OldDevilDawg is right, completely counter productive. Talk about alienating veterans and fans. They could use this whole thing to bring people together and talk but instead their demand is basically do what I say or else. That is unacceptable to me. If you feel that you have been oppressed let's have that conversation. By kneeling you are dishonoring the very people that fought for and defended your right to do that. That's my say.
The bolded part will not go well for them.Defunding and disband of the Police is a smart move.

Exactly. Such as the Black Lives Matter movement is based on bullshit.Out of curiosity? When is the right time to when the discussion? The players do a non violent protest, silently, people bitch. They do peaceful marches, people bitch. Violence erupts, people bitch. They post on social media, people bitch. They say something to the media, people bitch.
The truth is, people don’t want to hear messages they don’t agree with, anytime.
Right now is the time. It is not the time to alienate. Here's a simple example for you, If you want to win someone to your way of thinking do you rant and rave, give edicts, and do public symbols that denigrate, or do you try to explain your position in a positive and unconfrontational way? Where's the benefit of purposely trying to diminish something that so many hold dear? All that happens when someone does that is drive a wedge between both sides. I understand that there are people on both sides that want to forment mayhem, and want to hurt the other, they are usually the loudest voices, or at least the one's that are broadcast unfortunately. Football, sports in general, are great unifier's in that so many people enjoy watching them and don't give a flying rat's ass what color the person is playing the game, fans just want to see the best players possiblle and to win. For players to say you either support what we do unconditionally is not a healthy way to preach togetherness.Out of curiosity? When is the right time to when the discussion? But previous ways haven’t been working either. As mentioned before.
And my guess, your average Iowa fan doesn’t give a shit about these players outside how they perform on Sat so they can feel better about being an Iowan, like most sports. And your average Iowa player is probably staring to realize that.
As a whole, I still believe that people are inherently good. The problem is that the 10% that are narrowminded, selfish, and ignorant, fuck it up for everybody. Then throw in the MSM giving that 10% the headlines.....well, now you have a pissed off and divided society. Everyone got labeled whether it was deserving or not. Why are we all not talking about that part?
It doesn't fit the agenda.
"Divide and conquer" is still as effective as it was during the Roman Empire.
You don't know Iowa very well. I'm a Iowa fan, born and raised. Iowa football is the biggest thing in the state, 2nd would be bball and then wrestling. These athletes are the darlings of the fans, they are idolized by kids the state over, and judging by message boards, and experience with fans my whole life, a healthy population of adults as well. Those athletes are celebrities to alot of people here. Hell I've seen it with my own eyes, a popular athlete walking around and people giving them well wishes. I don't personally do the celebrity thing. Everyone is a person to me, yep you are a better athlete, you are smarter, you can act, you can sing, to me it doesn't matter, what matters is your actions and respect for your fellow man. Aka what kind of person you are.But previous ways haven’t been working either. As mentioned before.

Like most protestors don't give a shit about Floyd, and just want an excuse to express rage, virtue signal, riot or steal? But previous ways haven’t been working either. As mentioned before.
