Decades can be difficult to predict. IMO

On the rise:
Texas
USC
Tennessee
Penn State

On the Decline:
Michigan State
Stanford
Boise State

On the rise:
Texas - being the premiere school in one of if not the best recruiting states in the nation, there's no excuse for them to have fallen from the ranks of the top 10......EVER. Something outside of CFB almost definitively affected that fall.

USC - ^^^yeah, these guys too.

Tennessee - Paper tiger. Back when they were great, they recruited the state of Georgia with the best of them. Until Dabo Swinney leaves Clemson, the Vols will always suck hind tit.

Penn State - Fully agree. Franklin is sitting on a sleeping giant....and he knows it. It's just a matter of time.

On the Decline:
Michigan State - I'll reserve judgment on this one until I can give Mel Tucker a couple of years. He is a brilliant football mind and one helluva recruiter. If he puts together the right team, he could make the B1G a very difficult conference to predict year after year.

Stanford - California should just quit football. it would be better for all involved.

Boise State - This is mostly true on the national stage due to the CFP. The Broncos took full advantage of the BCS format. They are still the most prominent G-5 team and will continue that under Harsin because of the program and how it was established and designed many years ago. I really don't see them losing any ground over the next decade.

I'm an analyst by nature. Then I was professional trained in analytics by the finest fighting force on our planet. I might get it wrong sometimes, but my analysis will always be sound.

Also, I can lick myself. Can you?
In case you took that wrong, I meant that you posted exactly what I was going to.

As for your question, yes, I just can't stay close enough to finish the job

That's what I couldn't figure out having Texass on you teams of the decade list. 71 wins for the longwhores and Nebr. has 75.

Not sayin' Nebr. belongs, butt Tx surely don't.

I’m optimistic about Mel Tucker and I really like most of the staff he brought in. Everyone is expected to be an aggressive recruiter and that was never the case with Dantonio.

The Curtis Maxwell lawsuit (Against Dantonio and MSU) has finally been dismissed, his lawyers were fined and reprimanded and they also have to give Dantonio $52k for legal fees. He was a poison pill in Detroit, absolutely killing recruiting there. Now that everyone can see he is FOS, hopefully Tucker can rebuild the relationships there.

The timing does suck though. No spring ball for a new staff and extending the recruiting dead period through the whole summer makes it a tougher transition. The schedule doesn’t help either, we’ve got @BYU and Miami (FL) on the OOC schedule.

Good luck, Wet One.
