Does the year mean as much without it being played even if we play the current SEC schedule?

Does not for me as there are just so many memories of the rivalry Dad and I had over it. Every year betting his buffalo ribeyes against a case of Vidala onions, plus having to year the opposing school's gear for family Christmas photos.

Io_a Sucks
Not much of a rivalry if that is the best you got.

Just a description from one of our games -

At one time early in the last half of the game, a stone was hurled at one of the Tech players, striking him a cruel blow in the head... At another time, one of the Athenians drew a knife and threatened one of the Techs' better players... The Techs were also poked and gouged with canes on plays toward the boundary lines...

There is a reason It is called Clean Old Fashioned Hate...

You're right, it's not a rivalry, just the facts ma'am.

Just here to let you know that one school has more National Titles and Conference Titles and the other is some ugly red school with a dog called uga

During their time as conference rivals, Georgia won 6 Conference titles, 2 in the SIAA, 0 in the Southern, and 4 in the Southeastern. Georgia Tech during that time won 13, 5 in the SIAA, 3 in the Southern, and 5 in the Southeastern.

Possibly the best thing to happen to Georgia was Georgia Tech leaving the SEC.

Yeah, I know...Dad always reminded me of that...

We still have them beat in number of pre-season National Titles, plus they have never managed to have a player win a Heisman, named after one of their coaches, and we have.( I take the victories where I can get them).

And 68–41–5 against the bugs.

That is reigning Iron Bowl Champion Auburn. Looks like we will still be reigning Iron Bowl Champions until the 2021 season, at least.

If you're saying there ain't gonna be a season, you shut your whore mouth. The president has spoken.

“The student-athletes have been working too hard for their season to be cancelled. #WeWantToPlay,” Trump tweeted Monday afternoon, employing the hashtag used by college athletes who on Sunday launched a drive to save the season in the wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Lest Trump’s message be lost, he tweeted again 51 minutes later: “Play College Football!”

Was listening to a sports talk show a bit ago and the following was posited. The B10 has opted out and it looks like the Pac12 is gonna follow suit, will it be considered a legit season if they are not playing, if we have a season at all.

Big12, ACC, and SEC will all play. ACC may be without some Northeastern teams. Hell, Scott Frost said Nebraska is playing even if they have to join another conference to play.

There is going to be an SEC fall football season ... just making @Toadman005 sweat a cancellation. As for the "whore mouth" ... it is a slut mouth, I have never charged anyone, sir. FWIW, were it not for Auburn, Uga X would be a goat.

Something wrong with a goat? I mean if it's good enough for the Department Of The Navy, it's good enough for me.

Seriously, do you know the story? I saw it on Saturdays Down South ... UGA's mascot for it's first two games in 1892 was a goat. UGA beat Mercer and then played the inaugural DSOR. Auburn won and it pissed Georgia off so badly that they BBQ'ed the mascot and never used a goat again.
