You could have got some meat, but not that much at least compared to a Californian or New Zealand. This breed is a small breed that is for showing and being a pet. Would not have went over well and not sure what caused the death so I wasn't risking it.

I grew up really poor. Any meat is better than no meat at all. That's why we eat squirrels.

I consider myself poor and want to get some meat rabbits to butcher to have some other types of meat if we needed it. Knowing my luck that rabbit had something rare happen to it (though the other 3 are fine so far) and we'd have a new COVID on our hands.
