You could go white water rafting on my street right now. Luckily we're mainly just getting the rain not the wind from this hurricane.

With a few hops and a little roll, I can toss a baseball into the bayou from my house, but I'm on high ground.

Decades ago, some mental midget decided it was a good idea to cut the road into the bank for a few hundred yards north of me when they paved it. Rain funnels into it and shoots downhill to the bayou.

Sometimes you just think, what the hell were they thinking, and then you realize they weren't. We have a county road engineer whoose life long goal is to narrow every gravel road in the county. Meanwhile farm equipment keeps getting bigger, he took a gravel road very near me that is the only connection between 2 parts of the county because of a bend in a river, other than a narrow paved road, and cut about 6 foot off of it. Two combines cant meet on it now without some one pulling in a drive way. 2 tractors barely fit. In my county farmers pay the taxes, I wont be surprised if he's fired in another year or two, he keeps pissing off the wrong people.

Good to go here, but my uncle has minnows swimming under his place by the river.

A leaner from Michael had a gentle fall on the new roof of his rental duplex and another fell blocking the road.

I let my Echo sing once again with a fresh chain. Don't hate me because it's orange. :)
