The next edition of THE GAME OF THE CENTURY--(#2)Bama versus (#3)Georgia

I’ll admit I’ve been less than enthusiastic about this season thus far. I should be ashamed of myself but the PAC dragging their feet to get started has pulled me down.

That being said, I am looking forward to this game. Fight on.

I'm a different animal. Every year college players take the field at every level from NAIA to FBS. I find a way to watch them play, somehow, someway. When I'm fortunate, I attend games.....of teams that most have never heard of. I love my Dawgs, I will ALWAYS bleed Red N Black. That said....I am one of the most prolific fans of CFB that you will ever know. No matter the level from NAIA to FBS, CFB is the greatest sport on the planet.

This is not some counseling session, but I think my biggest fear this year was tuning into the last sporting event(College football) I am holding on to that doesn’t try to preach to me about something/ or anything. Just play the game I love to watch.

I hope Golding was just trying to fool Georgia into thinking we have no defense, otherwise we are doomed. On the bright side, we have a lot of material for a rare Meltdown involving a winning team.

I'm just asking a question here. Has Saban completely turned over the defense to Golding? We all know he kept his hands on Kirby when he was there.

Is the Bama fanbase looking for a scapegoat to explain why a Saban defense doesn't look like a Saban defense? I'm not trying to start a bitch session, I feel like I'm asking a legit question.

That’s a perfectly legitimate question, and I think that while the defensive philosophy has always been Saban’s, he depends on the DC to handle implementing it on the field. Kirby and Pruitt did that very well. Golding? Not so much.

Last year I noticed it. Not up to snuff. And got a bit harangued on for pointing it out. Sure the injury bug and having to start 2nd stringers and such. But the sloppiness was there.
Is it just a fast paced offense can unravel BAMA's d? To complex of a signalling system?
But I'm not impressed with golding.

Sabans getting old and he's lost his edge. get some kleenex and try not to skeet on your sheets. 😎

I think having the Ole Miss game was the worst possible thing that could have happened to Georgia.

If you don't think Saban will light a bonfire under the ass of ever player on the field against Georgia you have lost your mind. It doesn't matter if Kiffin stole the signals, or just schemed that well or whatever.

The Bama team you are going to see this week I will bet will be firing on every cylinder they have.

I actually told my wife the same thing.

From your mouth to Gods ear!!!

Well let's not put the cart in front of the horse. Watching the SEC just kill one another and ending up with terrible records would make me smile. Since they don't have FCS teams to run up the score and try to get their rankings back against.

You ready for another edition of UGA versus ND? Hell, I'd like to play y'all and Clemson every year.

Back to our regularly scheduled programming.

An Alabama grad was scheduled to get married....then he found out his soon-to-be bride was a virgin. He immediately called off the wedding. She called him begging and pleading, "Why are you calling off our wedding?" she sputtered, through tears and vocal breakdowns.

He told her, he couldn't marry her because she was a virgin, "If you ain't good enough for your own family, you damn sure ain't good enough for mine."

"The home field should help the Tide this week. The edge, right now, goes to the Bulldogs when playing on neutral ground in Atlanta, leaving both with one loss and comfortably in the field."

So sports writers are still considering the possibility of home field advantage(HFA) with crowds limited the way they are. Is there really an HFA when most of the stadium is empty? Legit question or not? Dan Mullen thinks the crowd at A&M was the reason his swamp lizards lost. What say you? Does Bama really have the HFA? Does that size crowd really make as much difference as a packed stadium of +/-100K?
