Imma gonna kill the sonofabitch...

I'll probably get some of it wrong, but for those who missed the story, I'll do my best.

Peter's daughter (I think around 12) was at a friends house. Parents either not there or not paying attention.

Friend got father's unsecured gun and it went off accidentally, striking Peter's daughter. Peter arrived to pick her up shortly after it happened and found his daughter. She didn't make it.

He and his wife and their children dedicated themselves to educating people about gun safety and passing out of gun locks. It was a big effort, for which they were recognized by the White House.

You have to have enormous inner strength to pick yourself up after something like this and not only keep going, but turn it into something to try and prevent it happening to others.

A little education goes a long way when it comes to weapons.....

Edit: Of course, I would have educated the other child's parents in a 6 ft hole or two.....

Being a widower has been arduous but I simply can’t fathom what he endured. No words! God bless him and his family!

And if TINP wants to be angry about people knowing about here, let him get pissed at those from here that went running to post the link to here on Rivals.

This wasn't exactly kept a state secret, like, say, Purple Foliage
TINP ? Angry?

I hope you know me better than that, Deer.

I'm not even sure I've referred to this place at the other boards unless it was a simple passing reference to "FQ" with no context.
