End of 2020 Season Top 25

Yeah. But Im willing to be he didnt think so. I didnt mean to compare Saban to Hitler. The simple fact is Saban takes cast-offs and rejects, does something to reinvigorate them. It isnt all that different than Alcoholics Anonymous. Im willing to bet some of Hitlers strongest adherents were strange people, too. Its not an indcitment against Saban. Where I live there are alcoholics. Sadly. Its a disease. Again, sadly. Bill McCartney was an alcoholic with a vicious temper. So was his wife. Im a recovering addict. Not alcohol. Pornography. I attend meetings meant to help. Saban is taking in rejects and cast_offs and rehabilitating them. Adolf Hitler took in rejects and cast offs. The entire Nazi movement was one of extremism. Sure, the motives were different. But I see similarities. Wiat is Alabama if it isnt the extremism as applied to technique meant to suajugate the rest of society? Thats not capitalism. Thats Marxist.

Maybe. Alabama wasnt relevant prior to Nick Saban? Who, by the way, left L.S.U. for the N.F.L. Hes clearly not exceptional. You dont get fired from a job if you are. Hes done wonderfully at Mamas. I defy anyone. Anywhere to tell me differently. Mama came calling and he ran home with his tail between his legs. Thats my recollection. An excellent hire? Sure. I went to Colorado. Theres tradition, there, too. I think they are hiring the wrong people. I wasnt crazy about Bill McaCartney. He wouldnt have been my first choice. You build a bridge. Thats what hiring is. A bridge to the next century. Otherwise its a stop-gap. Saban couldnt cut it in the N.F.L. He was thrown out on his ass. And Mama came calling. Calling Lil Nicky home. Hes been home since.
Couple of untruths here. Saban
didn't get fired from LSU's or Miami. Also Bama is not Sabans mama, he had zero ties to Bama which is one reason mal moore went after him. Oh and the biggest untruth is that Bama wasn't relevant prior to Sabans arrival.
Your stock just went down with this post. Might just have to do a gamestop short sell on your ass,

Come on, man. If he wants to say the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor, let him go. He's on a roll. :ROFLMAO:

If it werent for the Germans bombing Pearl Harbour, wed never have entered the war and the Fascirts might have taken over French IndoChina. So we owe Germany a debt of gratitude. At least Japan does. We actually werent at war with Japan until after Nazi Germany arose. Which, as I stated, came about, at least in part, because of insurrection. Hitler thought it best if the mob hell bent on destruction had a platform. Thats why he thought it expedient to exterminate the Jews. He considered them to be insurrectionists. Im not agreeing with Hitler. But he didnt exactly cloak his intentions. Im not sure how many people died. Millions, I presume. All in the name of democracy. Sure, Hitler was evil. But people are always fighting oves religion. Who cares about Nick Saban? I mostly dont. I tip my hat to him for reinvigorating Alabama football. I think I was falsely blamed for making him out to look like a tyrant. My opinion is a good coach wants everyone to prosper including himself. He might repuire that. But nobody really cares how many championships he wins. At least I dont. Hurrah for him, his cronies, and his legacy. But not everything he touches turns to gold. He failed at Miami. I dont care why. It doesnt matter to me. And Im well aware hes from W.Virginia and not Alabama. I was speaking metaphorically. He went home to roost, it would appear. Nothing wrong with that. Perfectly fine and acceptable. But it followed an incredible failure as a coaching hire in the N.F.L. And Im not quite done. Hitler was popular too. For similar reasons and methods. And if you remove the Holocaust, he might be mentioned among the greatest tacticians, ever. Something to consider before we knight the guy. Im suspicious. I think theres something fishy. Just a hunch. Maybe its all on the level but I doubt it. Well find out evfntually. It wasnt until after we invaded Germany we discovered the hidden truth. Alabama seems suspect. Assuredly they are better, but they are still college students. I suspect performance enhancers. Or steroids. Maybe protein bars. But something illegal.

I fucking love you, man.

Hitler and tactician. Interesting concept. Going to war on 2 fronts w/o the resources to fight like that is not good tacticianing. Japan had a resource problem also. Counting on winning certain battles to get needed resources means winning those battles.

As far as the Nicktator? Well, us BAMA fans are quite happy with his "failure" in the nfl.

Considering the relative size of country, Id say the Japanese weqpe a formidable foe. Whether os not the Pearl Harbor attack was warranted, I couldnt say. But it took courage of conviction. Assuredly they knew it would awake a sleeping giant. What precipitated it I couldnt say.

Im telling it like it is. At least the way I remember it being at the time. I could be wrong. I usually am. Some said it was because Drew Brees wasnt signed to the Dolphins, who were my favorite professional football team who Nick Saban ran through the wringer. Autocrats have great field vision. Adolf Hitler was succesful. But eventually he was defeated by superior tactician. And time honered time tested field strategy. Saban will lose. Maybe not tomorrow. But there are too many field generals out there. I would go on. Saban is defying the odds. Possibly has some operative taking careful notes, a la Billy Beane did. I suspect something fishy because I dont think Saban is especially smart. I dont think hes cheating. Mike Locksley was a great recruiter. At New Mexico but was run out of town on a rail for personal misconduct. Actually the entire Alabama crew looks like an AA assemblage. People with skeletons getting rehab. Its working. But its shady. Lane Kiffin?

Well...analyze this...

Every four-year class recruited by Nick Saban at Alabama has won at least one national championship, spanning 14 classes.
Alabama has had, at most, two non-title seasons between their national titles under Saban, meaning every three-and-done player has won a national championship.

i would never intentionally malign another person. He in fact was hired away from L.S.U. Actually that was hasdly the first and obviously not the last team he left. Hes hardly alone. Many have dooe the same. One person, in particular, whose name I cant recall is still upset to this day the way he left Michigan St. Apparently he simply walked away from that job. So you are right, he was never fired. Just too chicken-shit, appasently to follow through on promises. You can choose to look the other way, if yov want. He isnt beholden to you. Me, or to anyone else. But there is something to be said for keepini your word. Colorado lost a coach, a pretty good one. Apparently, to Michigan St. Disappointing to be sure. I might be making too much of it. But it wears thin. The cowardice. Im sure there is a name for it. Scott Frost left UCF in a lurch. Taking with him, as I recall, UCF commits. Almost encroaching on the transfer rule allowing kids to remain elighible if they left willingly. Pretty brazen all the same. A first as far as I can remember. But it also says something about the present state of affairs. Nebraska couldnt win with Mike Riley, so they stole UCFs thunder. The coach AND the commits. Heck, they ought to have simply swapped rosters! Which actually happened once in the U.S.F.L. The Chicago Blitz and Arizona Wranglers. At least that way theres no deception! And players were mostly o.k. with it. But Nebraska football is still languishing. There are no quick fixes. There never were and there never will be, either. Michigan St. Will always be a great place to play. Mel Tucker was wise to relocate. As would be any head coach. Nick Saban.

I tried to address the circumstance surrounding each championship in a constructive fashion. Without pretense. Clearly as you have indicated, to stand alone at the precippice of the canyon is a risky venture. Thats whata championship requires. Boldness and bravado. Kudos to Alabama and to the Sabanator? Truly its a neasly unparalelled fete. Only h4r preaecesso, were equao to the task. If Sacbn can count a championshipwon at an opposing school, then alro ouggt, Papa Bear at Kentucky. They are tied. The media tried and failed to put Saban before the Beas, thats sacrilege. Kentucky won a legitimatf title in 1950. Against Oklahoma. It counts!

When you use words like chicken shit and cowardice, it makes that whole paragraph sound like sour grapes. I could argue that a coach is entitled to better himself just like anyone else, remember, until he got hired at Bama for at the time was an unheard of amount of money for a college coach, he was in the middle of the pack pay wise.
and without doing any research on this, I'd bet he never left Michigan state or any team in the middle of the night without saying goodby to his players.

Im sorry I cant remembeq the players name, but I wasnt making up a lame excuse when I said there was bitternesr. Following the players recquitment. It was something I recently discovered. I wouldnt know if Saban bid his team farewell. But that player is infuriated. If and when I rememaer his name I will reveal it. Not a run of the mill recruit. A blue chip. One apparently sold on what ever line of bullshit Saban used to recruit him to Michigan St thinks Saban is a poor example of leadership. A great player. Not some bitter benchwarmer. Thinks Saban is a piece of work. O.K.? Not some wash out.

Apparently no one cared. Blue chips have been flocking to Bama in droves since Saban arrived. Maybe the kid you speak of just had wadded panties.

My guess without knowing anything would be he probably told the kid he would be there long-term. I couldnt say. I obviously wasnt recruited to play football anywhere. I will eventually remember who it was. That way it isnt me spreading rumour. Whoever it war was encensed about it. The impression I had was he sold the kid on the program. Then he left. That was before the recruit could opt out. He probably never played for Saban. But war a stellar athlete. Wide receiver. At least thats my recollection. He didnt leave Michigan St. But he was mad. And is still upset about it. I guess he thought he was swindled. I wouldnt know. But I have a few hard feelings when people lie to me. That might explain why. But I wouldnt know.
