Is the Gus Bus headed to UCF?

I would love to see Gus back on the sidelines. I do believe that we handled his firing poorly, especially in the light of his last contract extension.

Question is, will UCF fans accept hiring him? They'll be like, "Wait, didn't we already beat his ass? Why would we want to hire a loser?"
One reason is that he beat Saban's Alabama dynasty more than the entire other SEC coaches combined since his hire. I still like Gus although I wish he would have went to Arkansas a couple of years ago.

Not sure Gus has accepted the job yet, but IMO, it's a great hire for UCF if it happens. Gus back to a G-5 school with his well established SEC recruiting connections? I'm betting Mickey Mouse is getting a huge boner right now.

Auburn is a tough job when you consider they play UGA, Aggy, LSU and Alabama every year. That means half of their conference games are against teams that, on paper, have more talent than they do. At UCF, he should be able to out recruit most of the conference.

I remember when A&M wasn't in the SEC and LSU was an afterthought. Auburn was an up and down dumpster fire then. It's the Barner legacy.

Op, I gotta serious question for you....

...what if if Alcohol was meant to even out the chemical imbalance?

Should I be drinking before and during work to function?

And when Bama sucked ass for a decade and a half during the mid-late 90's - mid-late '00's...

Auburn has always been up and down but their ups have been really good. They're always a program that's capable.
IMHO we have underachieved most of my life. Every now and then we will field a great team but that is more lightening in a bottle than consistent, great long term team management. Were I to sum it up in a picture:

Bonus points to all that recognize a hit and miss engine.

Love those things. We went to the Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic in Decatur, Alabama several years ago and they had several of these ranging in all kinds of shapes and sizes. Most of them were running so you could hear the distinctive sound they make.

I love them too. My Grandpa had one that he used to operate a washing machine back in the day and I got to see it in action on several occasions. The sound is amazing.
