The new and improved Good Morning thread!

Damned, Monday is kicking my ass. Apparently last night my freezer quit AND a Flushmaster(air over water pressure assisted flush) shit the bed. I had planned on starting to pressure wash and scrape the front porch for repainting today and tomorrow ... I am going back to bed.
Damn dude. Bed sounds like a perfectly good response 😂!

It was either that or start drinking ... Which I had planned to do while pressure washing the porch and that damned lattice I have to paint. Drinking while hovering over a toilet ended for me with the great Jack Daniels incident of '16. On a side note, is it common to get one's head stuck in the shelves over a toilet? ... I was singing Lean On Me between heaves.

@RTR...USN (ret) I bet you're ecstatic that you still don't live in Colorado, 2 foot of snow there yesterday.
If I NEVER see another damn flake it will be too soon! If Alabama isn’t far enough south to avoid most of that nasty cold white shit I’ll sell my house and move farther south.

Does anybody have any experience with Sleep number beds? I am thinking about getting one but that is a large investment compared to mattresses/box springs.
We don’t have a sleep number, but we did buy a top of the line temper-pedic. It’s a split king, with independent powers bases, so you can each raise/lower the head and feet to suit you without affecting your partner. We looked at the sleep number beds, but went temper-pedic instead. Still a large investment, around $9k, but worth every penny to us. Best rest I’ve ever had.

I had a tempur-pedic years ago and was not satisfied. Admittedly the tech has come a long way but I am still concerned about a sink spot with those. We are looking at a split king as well, qualified for 0% financing but I just hate to drop more on a bed than I have on a majority of cars that I have owned and I hate financing anything. Can I ask what tilted the scales to tempur-pedic for you?

The wife! 😂
Seriously, she laid on both, did all the adjustments on the sleep number, and she just liked the temper-pedic more. I was ok with either one. Both are expensive as hell though...

Thanks for reminding me that it really does not matter which I think was best ... I lost touch with reality for a few minutes. Dammit I am making rookie mistakes at my age ...
