Who would want to have to beat both Bama and Clemson twice in the same season to win a Natty?

Having seen ND play Clemson twice last year and Bama last year. Not a fan of playing them twice in a season.

That said both teams have some pretty heavy turn over of starters last year to this year. So no telling if they will have different levels of production. It is safe to say they are both preseason favorites. But who knows if DJ will be as good week in and week out as Lawrence was. Or if all the skill player changes on the Bama O will click as well as they did last year.

I think on average (nationally), people are sleeping on UGA as far as Natty contenders. They are freakin loaded and scored big in the transfer portal. I really think they can go all the way. If they blow-out Clemson they will be the talk on every sports media outlet.

I'll be honest, if I played UGA this season, I'd be terrified. Once Monkens system is completely in place (which the transfer portal helped secure) good luck stopping their offense.

Dude is the whole reason behind Oklahoma States offense when we reentered the national spotlight in the early 2010s

Op is wishfully thinking some bullshit imo... ;)

I didn't say it was gonna happen, but the potential is there for UGA to have to play AND BEAT BOTH twice. All that would have to happen is 1 regular season conference loss. Say UGA beats Clemson then loses to Kentucky. Then they face an undefeated Bama and win the SEC. That would put 11-1 Clemson and 11-1 Bama in with 11-1 UGA. If tOSU goes undefeated, I would have

1. tOSU
2. UGA
3. Clemson
4. Bama

We know how it worked out between the Buckeyes and Bama last year.

Would be crazy but hey, welcome to the SEC on a Saturday Night. beers
