For UGA, it's gonna be Adam Anderson. Last year he was sharing time at the edge rush with Jermaine Johnson who transferred to FSU and Azeez Ojulari who moved on to the NFL. This is the year he gets the opportunity to be a full time starter. He is a matchup nightmare and in very limited playing time last year (just over 100 snaps) he still led the team with 5.5 sacks. He could finish the season well into double digits with 20 sacks not out of the realm of possibility. The former 5-star is a beast that comes with a vengeance and destruction in his heart. It's his time to shine.

“Agiye Hall was rated a 4-star prospect from Valrico, Florida. He was ranked as the nation’s No. 5 wide receiver in the class of 2021, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. ESPN asked Nick Saban about Hall, and he paid him the ultimate compliment for a freshman.
“Agiye Hall is a really good freshman prospect,” Saban said during Alabama’s spring game. “We’re trying to move him around so we can get him the ball more. He’s one of the most explosive players on this team.”
Saban doesn’t just talk about any freshman like that, and it’s clear that the explosive Hall could be the next freshman to pop at Alabama.

Devon Williams (WR)

He's got a ton of size and the Oregon staff loves his potential. They recruited him hard out of HS but he chose USC over Oregon on signing day. However, he entered the transfer portal and went to Oregon during the 2019 season. I'm real excited to see what he can do.

With Bryan McClendon as his position coach, he'll be well prepared. McClendon was on Mark Richt's staff 2009-2015. He's an excellent WR mind. He's also 1-0 as a head coach leading UGA to a win over Penn State as interim HC in the 2016 Taxslayer Bowl. He's one helluva recruiter. On a side note, he's the son of Willie McClendon. Willie was the starting tailback prior to Herschel's arrival to Athens in 1980. Bryan also had a standout career as a WR for UGA.

McClendon is loved by Oregon fans right now. His 2021 WR recruits were probably the best in the country besides Alabama. It will be a nice change, it's been a while since Oregon has had dominant WRs

Kevin Harris -SEC’s leading returning rusher, running for 1,138 yards and 15 scores a season ago. He had a handful of 100-yard performances, and a couple in which he eclipsed the 200-yard mark. When all was said and done, he’d outrushed all conference tailbacks, including first-round pick Najee Harris to take home the regular season rushing crown. Harris is looking to become the first Gamecock to post back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons since George Rogers achieved the feat in his Heisman winning 1980 campaign.

20 sacks is his goal.

Georgia football breakout star Adam Anderson aiming for 20 sacks (dawgnation.com)

“It doesn’t matter to me when it comes to pass-rushing, that’s second nature to me,” Anderson said. “If you aren’t an athlete or a baller, you shouldn’t have to choose whether you want to come from outside or inside, you should be able to come from both.”

Azeez Ojulari, the outgoing SEC sacks leader, predicted Anderson would have 10 or more sacks this season.

While Anderson appreciates the confidence his former teammate has in him, he made it clear he’s aiming higher.

“He said 10, but I’m really going for 20,” Anderson said. “That’s wild to say, but if you go for something smaller, you aren’t really getting anything out of it.”

Michael Mayer

True sophomore TE. Is referred to as 'Baby Gronk'. ND gets a lot of good TEs. But this seriously might be one of the greats

I posted this thread because I watch a shitload of CFB games. I wanted to know names I needed to watch for.
He started to really come on last year. But as a true freshman he didn't get too much love. This year I expect him to be one of the center pieces of a new offensive scheme. He has a great ability to accelerate after thr catch.

Hopefully that paired with a guy that actually has the ability to the throw the ball will help show his skill set. Last year he was the under crossing route king.

Im not sure who that will be but hopefully a WR. Wan'Dale Robinson cant carry the team and I expect him to be double teamed a lot.

We have a lot of transfers coming in so I will break it down into three categories:
Transfer- Tony Fair DL. Uab transfer senior that has beefed up and has a nonstop motor.
Established player- Chandler Wooten- Sat out last season because of concerns of covid. His wife was late into term and he had to choose
safely being there for his wife and unborn child or playing football. He is a beast.
Wildcard- Dematrius Davis- IF Bo Nix struggles, this guy will have all the tools and a chance.

Not necessarily a 'Household Name' but a known name, will be WVU receiver Winston Wright.......I think he's our best kept secret, and Doege will be able to get him many more touches than last season, when he showed signs of explosion.
