Could see a lot of assistant coaches and coordinators get shots this off-season.
Mich ST firing Tucker with cause was a huge win for them, now they can pull out the wallet. TAMU gonna TAMU.

I missed the “Stoops to A&M” stuff last night, how long was that a thing? Twitter makes it sound like it was a done deal for a couple hours, then it fell apart.

He looks like an idiot.

I don't know if he is a championship caliber coach.

But I can tell you his defenses will be much better prepared than Jimbo was this year.

A lot of the talent that TAMU has had on defense was due to him. And if he can handle the transition to a SEC schedule. He could be a power in the west by year 2.

All the hires aren't done yet. But it is going to be hard for anyone to do a better hire than this, this off-season.

I see no openings yet that can upset UGA's coaching staff, so I'm good for now.

@OldDevilDawg

You spoke too soon ;)
In my defense, the Syracuse job wasn't open when I posted that. 😁

Congrats to Fran Brown for getting the 'Cuse job. Didn't see that coming. He's done a helluva job with the DBs for the last 2 seasons and is a relentless recruiter. He has bigtime NE ties and should be a really good fit for the Orange. It's an opportunity that he has earned and I hope the best for him.
