my daughter said the same, its in an old part of the town and the crowd was mostly black but families and well behaved but about an hour before the shooting the crowd changed to older teens and 20 somethings and you could feel the change in the mood of the place so they left

My daughter resides in Ottawa Hills and stays in that area pretty much not being a local to Toledo or Ohio for that matter. It seems to be rather safe there.

my daughter lives in Ottawa Hills as well, but her sorority has several members from Toledo and her internships have been in Northern Toledo so she has learned her way around. The shooting for a point of reference would have been about 3 blocks east of the exit off of I-75 where you get off to head west to the campus

My daughter's roommates are from Cincinnati, western Pennsylvania and one from Maumee. I know the exit you referenced.

She is having to learn the area this summer, Oregon, Perrysburg, Bowling Green due to interning as well.

Mine does as well, Im not thrilled about it myself. We should only have one more year if I recall correctly.

I don't know a lot about there area other than when we are their we got to Mud hens and Walleye games.

I did just see that Toledo PD just arrested the second shooter from last week.

Mudhens have one of the nicest AAA stadiums in the country
