Alright.

Before game one. Plant the flag. What will be your teams regular season record.

For ND I say 10-2

They beat the teams they are supposed to. And go 2-1 against Clemson, USC, Ohio St. But then also drop one other. I actually think it will be Duke

Mods. Can we get a pin?

@PSUTE

Regular season, I wanna say more, but the realist in me says 9-3 (with a shot at 11-1) but what's in parenthesis doesn't count as my pick.

Kentucky Wildcats
Similar to the aforementioned Bielema and the Illini, Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops deserves respect, and nobody should believe they won't claw their way to seven wins this season (projected to win 6.5). Sure, the SEC East is formidable, but Stoops has guided Kentucky to four consecutive bowl games, winning three of them. The Wildcats did lose the Music City Bowl last year to Iowa, but with star quarterback Will Levis opting out of the game, that shouldn't have come as too much of a surprise.

With all due respect to the undeniably gifted Levis, the Wildcats may, in fact, get more consistent play this year from NC State transfer Devin Leary, whose 60.2% completion percentage and 62-16 career touchdown-top-interception ratio fit in better with the defensive-minded Stoops anyway. Leary joins a squad boasting one of the better offensive lines in the SEC and potential NFL draft picks all over the roster. Edge rusher J.J. Weaver and cornerback Andru Phillips are among the Wildcats on defense that I think could ascend this season into all-conference candidates.

The ESPN talking heads all predict Bama wins the natty.

I think we lose 1 game but win the title.
:UDUB: vs :Bama:

Funny they try to give UK credit without giving them credit. 7 wins and they have "potential NFL draft picks all over the roster".....that kinda backhanded compliment shit that us UK fans are so used to.

12-0 regular season.
shh

Have you forgotten about Oct 7th?

I've predicted an undefeated regular season (with scores of every game) for the last 2 seasons, and I've been pretty damned accurate.

So, here goes this year.

UT-Martin 38-10
Ball State 35-7
S Carolina 31-17
UAB 45-10
Auburn 42-21
Kentucky 27-21
Vandy 35-10
Florida 37-20
Missouri 38-14
Ole Miss 48-28
Tennessee 45-35
GaTech 42-14

I (and I'm sure @Hard2Bluff) appreciate your respect for our what UK's program has become (not to mention that UK has always seemed to play UGA closer than they should for years now). That's the only single digit win you have on your list.

It's also the lowest score I have for UGA because I think y'all have a defense that can keep you in every game you play this year. I don't think any other team we face can say that.

So most are thinking 10-2 for their team. Following that logic I get this:

UNC 35-17 W
Furman. 10-17 L
Georgia. 28-24 W
Miss St. 35-17 W
Tennessee 63-31 W
Florida 48-17 W
Missouri 28-27 W
A&M 24-21 W
Jacks St. 17-16 L
Vandy 31-10 W
Kentucky 17-10 W
Taters 48-31 W
😁

I'm going with 9-3 based on excellent reports on our preseason offense, Rattler has been killing it, and assuming he stays healthy. We don't have a bruiser RB, however we have several very experienced players there and a QB that can keep the LB backed off the line, as well as a WR that will require teams to double team him (Nykolas Harbor 6'5", 243lbs, literal Olympic speed).
