2 weeks out. We all pretty much know what we have going into the season. Time to give your honest belief what will be the regular season record.

Bonus points for picking wins and losses

ND
@FSU - Win
Toledo - Win
Purdue - Win
Wisky @ Soldier Field - Loss
Cincy - Win (but in a very close game)
@VTech - Win
BYE
USC - Win
UNC - Loss
Navy - Win
@Virginia - Win
GTech - Win
@Stanford - Win

10-2 season and maybe a trip to Citrus or Camping World Bowl because of their weird tier for ACC picks

*edit to add
I don't think ND is as good this year as they were last year. They replace a ton of production along with 4 starters on the O line. I do think the passing game improves while the RPO game regresses.

Also I just don't think the ACC is as strong as they were last year. I get it is the ACC. But last year I thought they had better equality with the exception of Clemson, ND etc.

Just didn't want anyone to think I am basing this off of the awesomeness that is a Brian Kelly ND team

5-7, not the big turnaround in year two due to a brutal schedule playing 5 teams in the top 14 and I think NC St/BC will spend some time ranked as well.

But this season isn’t about wins/losses, it’s about competing and showing actual on field progress and improvement. Which I do believe there will be.

at Stanford - W
California - W
at UCLA - Tossup/Lean W
Colorado - W
at Washington - Tossup

at Utah - Tossup
Oregon State - W

9 or 10 wins seems most likely. Most of the tough games come on the road.

UK:
Louisiana Monroe: W
Mizzou: W
UT Chattanooga: W
@SC: W
UF: L
LSU: W
@UGA: L
@Miss St.: W
UTn: W
@Vandy: W
New Mexico St.: W
@Louisville: W.

10-2. Worst case scenario is Losses to Mizzou (toss-up), LSU (I dont know bout dem Tigahs this year) , and Miss St. (upset).
7-5.

But you’re sold on Auburn with a new coach who is a complete cultural misfit, going into a Primetime White Out in Happy Valley and handling them?
Not completely sold on each... You definitely have a point here. It will be a must see game. Why do you think PSU has a major advantage v/s a toss-up?

Our O line has been horrible for a few years and has not been looking any better in fall camp. Until we can win on the road against tough opponents, I must assume that the trend is continuing.

Because I think people way overestimated PSU’s start last year and way underestimated the finish they had. Covid was an odd year for everyone and PSU suffered some real issues that I don’t think will repeat themselves again.

They bring back a loaded secondary, good LB corps, D-Line is their one weakness but if they hit on their portal pick ups they’ll be fine.

Meanwhile on offense they bring back a ton of their production % including QB and a new OC in Mike Yurich that Franklin will let work.

Again, I just can’t see Auburn with a new coach (who I think won’t make it past two years) going up in a whiteout and handling PSU.

Ok ... here is my pessimistic forecast:

Sept. 4 - Eastern Illinois W

Oct. 9 - at Tennessee W
Oct. 16 - Vanderbilt W
Oct. 23 - at Texas A&M It's their turn to finally lose one
Oct. 30 - OPEN coin flip
Nov. 6 - Florida Slapping them into next week
Nov. 13 - at Missouri Beat down in our town
Nov. 20 - Auburn Pffft W

Hope THE puts the Dawgs down in the CFP. That's all.
