Whichever group that doesn’t need reaffirmation of being a tough guy.
 
I own one gun. A Dan Wesson .357 with the strongest hollow points available. Basically a home defense gun. But in that scenario if I had it on me, one shot would blow a hole thru him and maybe a 2nd shot for good measure.
The thing is a hand cannon.

Shotgun is much better for home defense. Has a great spread pattern in close quarters and goes right through walls.

Always good to have a pistol around. Just my .02 cents

Agreed. A tactical 12 guage is your best bet. The shorter barrel allows you to turn corners quickly, its incredibly effective at close range and nothing says "GTFO" quite like the sound of somebody chucking a shell into the chamber. Everybody knows what that sound means.

2 things. I'm quite proficient with the hand cannon I own and afaic, play stupid games, win bloody prizes.
