BAD ASS CARS, Post them here!

I asked my buddy since I have no idea…he says “Pretty close, 8.2 liter/500ci block, and front wheel drive too!”
A guy who I went to high school with had the same car. A buddy from my auto shop class thought he could take him in his Oldsmobile Toronado with a 455. The Eldo won, but it was close, and fun to watch those two boats going at it.

1985 I took my driver’s ed exam in my dad’s ‘78 Toronado…parallel parking that thing was a real peach.

I don’t remember what year the Toronado was, it wasn’t that year, I‘d guess a couple years older than that one.

The girl I was dating at the time drove a 63 Lincoln Continental with a 460, I kinda wanted to jump in that thing and get down on the boat race, but I know it woulda got smoked by both of them. I had driven that thing plenty of times, and it wasn’t very quick. Also, she wouldn’t let me.

72 SS 454

My uncle had one and he'd give us kids a spin in it when he showed up to family dinners. All I remember is praying for dear life.
I almost bought this as a young buck in the early 1990s, no rust but it needed a lot of work. It was siting out on a country road and they wanted 6,500 for it. I took it for a spin, had some backfires but was powerful! 1970 454 4-speed with T-tops. I think 400 HP out of the box originally.
