It used to be that stories would verify information before writing stories, but that's given way to expediency and sensationalism. With a healthy dose of slant towards its expected audience. In the case of the NYT the left, and NYP the right. On average though NYP is pretty much a rag who doesn't even try like ther national Enquirer. There's maybe a half dozen facts in that story and a ridiculous amount of innuendo and propoganda. Folks will slurp it up though so they'll keep printing it.
Let's stick to the overnight one to start. Im not sure I even read their laptop story. It's not exactly on my daily reading list.
