Here is where you post a pic of your first car and/or your favorite car. I'll start. My first car that I actually owned was a 72 Super Vega that I bought off my uncle for 100 bucks (I paid 50 and my grandma paid 50 lol). Was kinda like this one but mine was approximately 15 different colors.....

I still have my 1969 fastback but it needs a lot of tlc. Mine is not a Mach 1, no black paint and stripes, but exact same paint color. 351 Windsor bored .30 over when they dropped leaded gas, 4barrel carb added, FMX trans. Magnum 500 rims added. Already have a rear spoiler and chin spoiler (original style) to add. Plan to swap in a 4r70w trans in to save weight and add overdrive. Then add lower rear end gears with the overdrive. Also add a fuel injection kit to the carb. Add four wheel disc brakes and a quick ratio steering rack. And other goodies. Both Covid and Bidenflation have delayed getting my workshop up to work on it and others in the fleet.

One of my favorites, that I owned that my cousin was talking about the other night. It had a 350 out of a 1989 truck, 350 turbo trans and duels with flowmasters. It would run! $1900.00 and looked, felt comfortable and sounded great in around 1990? It had the these factory Rally wheels.

Also had a buddy that owned one of these Cutlass 442s around the same time, it had some weird gear shift, I never had the opportunity to drive it:

My first car was a Chevy celebrity station wagon. First car I bought in my own, new was a 2006 Pontiac G6.
I almost pulled the trigger on this GTO new in 2006. 350 HP out of the box with a 6 speed maual was a big deal at the time. In 2007 I think it went to 400HP. Glad I didnt. Dont see any on the road these days. and I would have run the hell out of it

Not a car, but probably my favorite conveyance that I've ever owned. A 97 Sportster 1200C. Had mine done up with the detachable windscreen, 2in1 Thunderheaders, saddle bags, highway bars with highway pegs, mini 8" apes, and braided steel control cables and a 5 star front wheel (was not a fan of the spokes so I replaced that front wheel soonest). Put a lot of miles on that thing. Made it into a mini touring bike and it was fun as hell.

My first was this sweet ride... bought it from a co-worker. Loved the dual range transmission. Was alsways funny when someone would pull up beside me, rev their engine, and I would pull in the clutch, reach for the lower gear lever with my foot, drop the transmission into low range and then reach up to the gear lever and put it in first. That look on their face as they were trying to figure out what was going on was priceless. Course when that light turned green I would peel out, and then wait at the next red light for them. People always wanted me to pull over so they could check it out.

My first was a 69 Buick Skylark. Somewhere, someone is thinking about their Yugo.

Not sure what year it was, but the first car I drove (and drove a LOT) was my mom's Skylark. Got that sucker stuck in the sand at Flagler Beach with the tide starting to come in around it. Dude with a truck charged me and my buddy 50 bucks to snatch it out of there (that's all the cash us two dumb teens had on us.....)

I bought mine from my grandmother for $600 and took it directly to the Talladega 500 for about four days of total debauchery. It was Tuesday before I learned who won the race ...
