CFB Changes You'd Like

They are "Your" "Commish" and "Get in the ACC and like it"

This is my "I'm being forced to transition" face.

And just like that, you killed everybody's big paycheck. In just a few years, we'd all be back to the 70's and listening to games on AM radio.
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

The Christian Bible doesn't have a monopoly on religious quotes...

“On the East Coast, football is a cultural experience. In the Midwest, it's a form of cannibalism. On the West Coast, it's a tourist attraction. And in the South, football is a religion, and Saturday is the holy day.” - Marino Casem, the longtime coach at Southern University

That's a dumb thing to say.

But to your initial point, I think there are other ways they can advertise and still limit direct commercial breaks. Hockey for example has advertising chyrons that go around the rink. Something similar could be done. Or they could do those picture in picture style commercials where the commercial plays in a smaller screen and the game continues on a larger screen. Just spitballing.

Which part, because I say a lot of dumb shit. Still B2Backing, though. 😁

Pace of Play

1)NFL Clock Rules except the final two minutes of each half, then the clock will stop with first downs.

2)15 minute halftimes

3)Replays only from above on scoring plays, turnovers, and coaches get 2 challenges a half with one being allowed review ANY play.

On Field

1)Targeting gets rolled into “Flagrant” fouls like in Basketball as does chop blocks and crack blocks on offense: FF1-15 yard penalty, player is removed for 4 plays or the completion of the series, whichever comes first. FF2 20 yard penalty and player is automatically DQed from the game.

2)XFL Kickoff Rules (seriously, they’re legit)

3)PI is similar to Flagrant Fouls: PI1 is 15 yards or spot if before 15 yards. PI2 is Spot Foul.

4)Injury-Players must sit at least 3 plays or team must use a timeout.

5)Instead of an onside kick, teams can elect to go for a 4th and 15 from their 30 yard line.

Roster Management

1)Players are allowed unlimited transfers however: Transfer Window exists from: December 1st-February 1st and April 20th-Jun-1st. Players can not enter the portal during dead periods and rosters must be set by The 3rd Sunday of August.

2)”Rookie Call ups” Players can play in up to 3 games and not lose RS Eligibility

3)ESD is August 1st. National Signing Day is Feb 1st. No need to have coaches and players mucking up December.

Schedule/Playoffs

1)12 game schedule with one bye week for all teams.

2)Season starts the last Saturday in August and ends the last Saturday before Thanksgiving.

3)Conference Championships are thanksgiving weekend

4)12 team playoffs with four byes in the first round. Home field advantage for the top two seeds with the semi finals occurring the third Saturday in December. Final 2 teams get a bye week over Xmas and the National Championship Game is played NYD at the Rose Bowl.

P.S. No taunting or celebration penalties. This is football, let the kids have fun.
