Seriously, do you know the story? I saw it on Saturdays Down South ... UGA's mascot for it's first two games in 1892 was a goat. UGA beat Mercer and then played the inaugural DSOR. Auburn won and it pissed Georgia off so badly that they BBQ'ed the mascot and never used a goat again.

Does not for me as there are just so many memories of the rivalry Dad and I had over it. Every year betting his buffalo ribeyes against a case of Vidala onions, plus having to year the opposing school's gear for family Christmas photos.

Dad graduated from GT and I broke his heart by going to UGA for my degree. Dad told me that I got my degree from the finest high school in Georgia. We always had a great time during Clean Old Fashioned Hate week. I have missed that as much as anything else since Dad made his journey.
