****College Baseball Thread****

I played little league like everybody else. Sucked at it, but "played." Always had my glove oiled and broke in. Playing pitch and catch and "games" in a local field, good times. Participating in it was okay, but watching it was so boring. Only a parent could enjoy waiting to watch their kid out there or going up at bat IMO.

Ive been to several MLB stadiums as a child and later as a father. Always took the kids with those cheap seats during the week and then spent stupid $ on 10 dollar hotdogs and $5 water bottles while they definitely were not entertained, nor I. Hey, somebody has to pay these players 10s and sometimes hundred of millions to see them, stand around right? But to each his own. Evidently some people love this shit

Definitely was more entertained at Hockey games. Energy, loud music, fights on the ice, making you stand up and go crazy, etc. I dont watch hockey on TV, but its definitely a different experience in person, not much with baseball after the first 30 minutes. Similar to sitting on a park bench or in a lawn chair at a kids soccer game.

Hey, I get it. Not just anybody can pitch a 100MPH fast ball, much less hit it out of the park. True skill, without a doubt. I like watching the highlights also. Ive been in St. Louis and KC when they were on fire, great atmosphere and sport fans. But the .... waiting .... for hours ... that may end in a 1-0 score ... Not for me.

Baseball teams might get more attendance if the Cheer squad showed up in your picture at games. Just saying
