This is the perfect recipe for our guys in nationals who might not really have a shot to do against every Pedd St wrestler they face. Keep away and make them take a small decision. Kills them in point 😂😂😂😂
 
Huge blow for Iowa,Spencer Lee is done for the year. Going to have surgery on his knees. So he must have hurt them worse.

Hell yes it does. I think that they might bring Ayala out of redshirt. He's probably good enough to AA but in the bottom half. He needs to get stronger and needs to get better on bottom. He's lost twice to McKee now because of it. The latest was yesterday at the scuffle.

Maybe McKee will wrestle with more confidence. Haven't been able to watch him lately, but earlier it wasn't pretty.

Im hoping 3rd times the charm for Ayala if he gets his shirt pulled on Friday. I don't think Ybara has a chance to score many points at nationals. Ybara is a true freshman as well, but he didn't want to redshirt this year so he has been wrestling in the absence of Lee, but is only .500 on the season and hasn't beaten anyone of note, he has a hard time generating his own offence. Just watching them both Ayala is better. Plus if Ayala stays in redshirt he will loose a year because Lee will be back next year and will start. Ayala can redshirt next year. Ybara will already loose a year regardless because he has wrestled already and he knew that was a possibility when he wrestled. It was his choice.

Yep Hawkeye fans recognize greatness no matter the team as long as they are respectful and not asses like some have been in the past. Dake and mocco to name a couple. As a whole Iowa didn't wrestle well. Kudos to Steveson for signing autographs with a bunch of people long after the dual was over.
 
Purdue beat Nubby Friday, now they are in Iowa city this afternoon to take on the Hawks. Starting now. Wishing I didn't have to watch from home

Runner up yesterday. Not sure how we pulled that off. My alma mater was there and finished 3rd. We both lost to the same team. The alma mater was closer to them than us. However we destroyed our side of the pool. Stepson wrestles at both clubs but wrestled for me since that's his school club. I wish I had more consistent & knowledgeable help. We could be even better if I had that.
 
I quit this season because nobody is beating Penn and I hate it. Iowa and Oklahoma State just had one key injury a piece that gave the Pedds a free pass.

Michigan, it's all on you now.
