Yeah. Iowa was disappointing but with Teemer being hurt it didn't help

Nebraska having themselves a night and Iowa looking to redeem themselves. I'm a bit surprised my Gophers are 5th. They lead the group in the tight points race as the top 4 separated themselves.

I can see why my stepson likes Nebraska. They remind me of his youth wrestling team I coached for the past 4 seasons. Guys that just get after it and bring some excitement. Guys that can stick you or get stuck and just plain dangerous if you overlooked them.
 
Nebby has had quite the tournament, as much as I detest them I will give them their due. Iowa had bad luck from the start with teemer being hurt and then Parco going down to injury as well. I'm really happy for Kennedy finally getting his AA, was bummed for Arnold. He's just to short for 184. He will be much better at 174 next year.
 
And wow the match between keckeison and macinelly was a great one. Minnesota has a great one in that kid

Not so much shock as hurt. Wyatt is a tremendous guy so that's a plus, but still gutted as a Minnesota wrestling fan. Just feels like we can't get over the hump. Gable was the lone spot until Max this year. Last time I was gutted like this was Brayton Lee's injury & never being how he was before. Hopefully Max stays with us or that will be a big gut punch too. Don't need another Nagao saga.

I haven't watched any of it yet. Daughter had an event I had to go to tonight but followed it on my phone. At least Buchanan won.
