Conference Realignment?

FSU and Clemson will be $EC before they join the B1G if I had to guess. Cornbread and collards ain't like B1G sauerkraut and brats.
I’d agree. But things making sense went out the window years ago.

Something else I read said the AD’s and networks want UW and OU to the B1G now, but the president’s want Stanford and Cal before they sign off (research $).

The networks aren’t liking that, especially Cal.

- I expect Arizona, Arizona State and Utah to join the Big 12 very soon (possibly Friday)
- Once that happens, the Big Ten will be on the clock. They're going to add Oregon and Washington. Not sure about Stanford/California. It sounds like the presidents would like to bring them in but there's no money for it. I remain skeptical on Stanford/California but it's being discussed so it could happen.
- There's still a lot of Florida State noise. I'm not sure they will make a move to join another conference for 2024, that seems too soon to pull off this legal challenge. But I don't think this is a bluff by FSU, they are planning an exit strategy. If the ACC did open up...there's no telling what would happen.
- UConn has pivoted to the ACC as their Big 12 hopes are probably done.
