Ah yes, my UCFavorite time of year — when the AP Poll and their UCFriends in the corrupt ESP5N cartel crowns the sec champs before the UCFirst snap. UCForget a level playing UCField — this is the Preseason Invitational, brought to you by corporate UCFFootball politics and P5 privilege.


You could set your watch to it: Bama, Georgia, or whoever the cartel decides is this year’s “chosen one” gets penciled in at #1 because tradition. Meanwhile, UCF could win back-to-back seasons without a loss, drop 60 a game, and still “need to prove it” against the sacred P5 schedule of Vandy and Cupcake State.


UCForget results. UCForget the scoreboard. In the AP Poll’s world, brand name beats box score every single time. That’s why they panic whenever UCF gets too close to breaking their little echo chamber — it exposes the UCFiction they’ve been selling for decades.


So congrats to the 2025 Preseason Paper Champs. Enjoy your August trophy. The rest of us will be playing actual UCFFootball while the ESP5N talking heads keep polishing the SEC’s participation ribbons.

UCForget accountability — the only way to describe the AP Poll, the voters, the so-called “sports pundits,” and the entire media circus is a completely corrupt system, like a leech on a riverbank whose only UCFocus is to suck every last dollar out of the stream. Somehow, we all just shrug and accept it. Or worse, tshirt bandwagoners UCFeeding this corrupt leech system when it benefits their team’s UCFavor. Over time, this is exactly what breeds bias, corruption, and the illusion that brand name beats UCFootball results every single time.


Imagine if every time, when a pollster made a completely ridiculous claim or voted incorrectly, they had to wear a giant foam hat that said “UCFool” while delivering their analysis live on ESP5N. Or better yet, require them to personally fund a UCF tailgate for every incorrect ranking — every. single. year. Suddenly, “oops, my bad” comes with consequences, and maybe just maybe we’d see a system that’s a little less bought-and-sold by the ESP5N cartel and P5 hype machines.


UCFiction doesn’t collapse overnight, but if we actually demand accountability instead of nodding along, maybe the pollsters would remember that games are won on the UCField, not in a Google Doc or in a broadcast booth.


Serious question: When was the last time you saw a G6 HC talking about the structural problems UCFacing the G6? When does the media ever talk about the non-Elite, or to the the not-top-of-the-P4? Isn’t that exactly special interests serving the leech like corrupt system?

The Big12 has never been bigger or better. I mean they have UCF in the conference after all.

sec UCFans need to stop trying to run away from competition in UCFBS. They make it seem like they can't compete unless they have special rules (remember those "Autonomy" rule NCAA exemptions) and special pass to the Invitational.
