Thinking about buying a new console and wanted some input. I last bought one when PS3 was first released and sent it to my son while he was on deployment so I am a bit out of the loop. I am more into turn based WWII type sims and sports games. A deal breaker is that whatever I buy MUST be able to play the old NCAAF games. It would help to have WiFi capabilities but not necessary. TBH, I am thinking about buying this so I can take it and my CPU monitor out back to our BBQ area instead of lugging my 70 pound Alienware desktop. I will live out there this spring/summer/fall. Any suggestions?

I have a real job... have had more than one as a matter of fact, but still like to play. I'm not a hard core "gamer", and don't play online, but killing shit on the xbox is a great way to kill some time and destress.
I get that. And I know I'm in a place most are not. I'd rather go break a horse or build something. Built a small solar system on my chicken coop last winter. Gonna build a sub-T greenhouse this year. I, personally, like to spend time doing productive things. Just me...

Just go get another used PS3 then..... None of the new consoles will play the older NCAA games.

NCAA14 was the last one made, and it will play on PS3

The thing I am not sure of with that platform is its internet connectivity/browser. When I am out back with the smoker going, I needs me some blues and to keep up here.
