I'm gonna clarify something. And about the lamescreamedia. Gulf war the media bemoaned how it was against the 4th largest army on the planet. Better get out the body bags. But they didn't further it with saying the dropoff between the 3rd and the 4th was equivalent to, say, the 70's Oakland Raiders vs a high school football team. And when it went down that was the outcome. We not only have to fight the camel jockeys but our own media.
Like I said in a previous post. Get in, get it done, and be done with it. We're the best. It can be done.

I understand your frustration. That "4th largest army on the planet" was equipped with 1960s era Soviet technology. M-52 and 54 tanks...SU-21 and 23 aircraft. It was a slaughter waiting to happen versus Stealth and Abrams. Fighting our "media" began during Vietnam, during the so-called, "Cultural Revolution" of the 60s.

I was there for "Gulf Storm". I came home to a hero's welcome and I didn't do a fucking thing. When I got home, my Mom took me out on the front porch and showed me the yellow ribbon. With tears in her eyes she told me that she had told everyone that it wouldn't come down until I came home and took it down. I didn't even realize what I was saying when my immediate response was, "It's a damn shame that nobody did this for Uncle Daniel (Vietnam Vet and Purple Heart recipient)". I got the welcome home that he deserved. I will never forgive our media for that.

Well, not only the media but the bs politicians playing games with our blood during the travesty known as Nam. For the most part I'm over that we didn't get any kind of hero's welcome. But the bs with our blood and treasonous swine like hanoi jane is still a bit of a dark spot with me.
Well, let's wait and see what goes down. The middle east has been crazy for thousands of years. Let them kill each other if that's the way it is. Just don't mess with any of ours or it's time to burn the place down.

Kill'em all and let Allah sort 'em out.

I feel the same way and own one ballcap that mentions my service … and that was a gift from my son but I don't wear it in public. It is not that I am ashamed of my service but rather that I know there was nothing heroic on my resumé. My Dad saw combat in Korea(he was a bosun and drove landing craft at Inchon) and my brother volunteered during Vietnam(went to Germany, never in country). I have met three MOH awardees and many bronze/Silver Star awardees as well. I have the Desert Shield/Storm ribbon an my DD214 but that is just because the Med Board was two weeks slow on ruling my case. Some of my best Navy buds were on special ops boats and went up a Soviet river to tap phone lines(disclaimer, I read about it in Blind Man's Bluff) but I was on a Boomer. That being said, I always think that my brothers and sisters in arms should welcome and enjoy the adulation and it was earned for just writing that blank check but I choose not to do so because my service was honorable and necessary but not heroic.

Suleimani funeral. Why would they waste a big casket for a hand and a pussy-ass looking ring to bury?

You know, maybe I just have a twisted mind, but I always wondered why we didn’t just take out one of these bastards and wait for the funeral. Once the funeral starts a well timed GBU-24 2000 lb laser guided pave way bomb would take out a shit load of the followers and supporters. Make the camel fuckers think twice about parading down the street.

I agreed with you, that would be awesome.

Allah's thinking on his religion is kinda twisted. Is there anyway we can resurrect him and put him in a re-education camp?
Not Allah, that's just another another translation of God. The Prophet Mohammed is the one who started things 1,400 years ago, and per research I've read about, the original Quran was later rewritten to a much, much harsher version to include multiple instances of "kill the non-believer/infidel/etc."

ok then, we resurrect both Allah and Prophet Mohammed and put them both into caitlyn jenner's house for re-education.
