“In 2020, I believe everything is set up for Mullen’s Gators to not only win the SEC, but advance to the College Football Playoff and perhaps even win the national championship.”

@Fishin-4-a-Livin we got a lot of FSU fans here They feel sorry for you poor bastages so they haven't loaded their guns here to make fun of UF. I get that, but at least put up a fight.
The constant FSU/UF banter helped keep that other board alive, especially during the off season.

In honor of that, I was gutting my disabled dad's deer when this went down.

Blow me swamp lizards, I've banged more of your women than you've ever seen.

Mullen is going to get them there,, but not yet.

You know......I actually gave this some thought for a couple of days because I trust your CFB knowledge. No....Mullen ain't gonna do it for them while Kirby is in Athens...….and Kirby is gonna be in Athens for a LONG damn time. Them swamp lizards ain't got the patience to wait it out. They got spoiled rotten by Spurrier (a once in a lifetime HC and hands down, the biggest Dawg hater in CFB history) and think they are more than they really are. They'll fire his ass (Mullen) if he doesn't beat UGA in the next 2 years.

I just dont see Mullen bringing them to the promised land either.

Now this is how you disagree with somebody lol..

When Mullen gets a QB, I expect them to challenge Georgia.. Now Georgia is going to be the big dawg for years to come for sure,, but every Batman needs a Joker.

The SEC East is gonna go through Jacksonville (WLOCP) until the rest of the division catches up. Mullen is a good HC, but he lacks the built in hate that former players like Spurrier(UF) and Smart(UGA) have. When it comes to the WLOCP, you can't "share/teach" what you don't know.

No offense to UF fans, but I think Mullen falls flat next season and the hype will settle down. Can there ever be another Spurrier? He definately aint no Spurrier. UGA is loaded, and they have a fierce OC. Who will be your QB btw? Ive been lazy.

Jamie Newman, grad transfer from Wake Forest.

"Jamie Newman, a dual threat QB from Wake Forest, landed in Athens, Georgia earlier this month. The 6’4 QB completed 61% of his passes for 2,868 yards and ran for just under 600 with 26 and 6 TDs respectively."

He put up damn good numbers last year, but looked like shit against better competition. Dude fits Monken's offensive scheme very well. Gonna be interesting to see what he can do when he's surrounded by 5-star players. He also has 4 incoming 4 star WRs. It's gonna take a few games early in the season to get together on timing and that game in Tuscaloosa week 3 is gonna be huge.
