Press conference Monday. Alex Leatherwoood, Jr O lineman , announced today he’s coming back.

Dylan Moses is coming back if his crazy Daddy doesn’t screw it ip.

More Jrs are expected to announce they are staying too. WRs Ruggs and Smith possible.

It may take more than talent returning to fix the whoas of this current Bama defense. This is Shula level shit that was fielded this year...

Honestly I don’t think so. The defense was severely limited by youth and inexperience. Check downs had to be simplified, and teams attacked the LB’s forcing them to think instead of react. Second half of the game against UM they played much better. Time will tell.

Barring serious injuries again, the LB’s will be phenomenal next year. All the freshmen that had to play this year learned on the fly. Add Dylan Moses back and the lb’s will once again be elite.
If Tua and the receivers are back then that team will be damn near unbeatable.

I would argue that Moses coming back is more impactful than Tua. That is not a shot at Tua ... he is the best player in NCAAF and IMHO has the character that would make any Dad proud for his daughter to bring home … but Moses not only has a greater impact on the field but in the film room as well. A senior MLB teaching experienced underclassmen in Saban's system how to prep, communicate and play opens up the entire playbook for the D.

Good point. Mac has proven to be a serviceable QB, and with a dominant defense again Bama would be a formidable opponent.

IMHO Mac is way more than serviceable and with the experience he got this year, there won't be much of a drop off in QB play if Tua leaves. The biggest unknown IMHO is can Mac be the leader Tua and Jalen in the offseason, and I think he can.

The games Bama lost weren’t because of Mac, but the offense is much more dynamic with Tua. Mac makes all the throws, but he’s not as accurate as Tua, particularly on the rpo passes and quick slants. The ball placement with Tua is the difference between a 8-10 yard gain and taking it to the house.

I totally agree with what you are saying. But that being said, a large part of the timing and accuracy is being accustomed to the receiver's speed and pattern decisions. IMHO Mac makes the right reads and his decisions are overall very good with on time delivery. IMHO the accuracy will be better when he has an offseason to get to experience the receivers' abilities/habits. Add to that your coaches do a better job of putting players into positions to succeed than almost, if not, anyone else and I just do not see a major drop off in QB performance.
