I feel the same way @CowpokeU . If I feel you’re going off course, a nudge back is usually all that is needed. No need for us to have to put up with the nonsense some of that Ilk spew.

That was typically what I tried to do on Rivals, I'd temp ban em to rope them into a conversation with me in private and see what was up and where they were coming from. Usually I could figure things out real fast and even developed friendships with posters from doing so.

Once everything was let out on their end and we figured out where to go from there, I'd release them and delete the ban history.

There were only a few I took pleasure in nuking and they were the same guy who kept coming back and trolling. I didn't even like sticking Monorojo and the other tOSU guy in jail for long periods but they wouldn't talk, they wouldn't leave well enough alone.

Unfortunately sometimes that happens.

Yeah I had never really engaged him at all till that day. It was probably dumb to do so but It was rather funny watching them melt over it. I had already decided I was pretty much done with that thread, I will still look at and post some on the political forum there but don't really care about the rest.
