Lol well let's be real, this board was started by the folks that got banned on Soundoff. There wasn't enough traffic here when the overwhelming majority of us were already in one spot and then went to the new Soundoff. I suppose we all should have just come here and NR could have saved us the hassle of having a new home for less than a year unnecessarily.

Mistakes were made. :p

I got back on Hoopla after several years. it's OK but there's too much going on, whereas this is only CFB. I like.

Still got a PIT. Still got a "General discussion" page. I like the small separation in topics format. Makes for easy navigation. Coop did a helluva job coming up with how he laid this place out.

Yeah, I don't like browsing by forum. I like doing so by "new posts" on any board, because those are the threads that are active.

There's just too many threads and forums over there that things get buried quickly and 95% of the new post threads are shit I don't care about.

Agreed. I'd get it running for a few days just to let folks know about this board then shut it down

This board was absolutely not started by those of us that got banned from Soundoff. It was a 15-year long project of a poster that was a young, ambitious normal poster on Soundoff years ago. After the Purge, we drifted in the Ether until he finally provided our permanent home. I've been to his house. I can give you his phone number. Today he is a very successful HS football HC in the panhandle of Florida.

I remember him talking about it, but if he did, I never got there. Spent most of my new found time on Hoopla. When Coop got this place up and running, I happily deleted Hoopla from my "favorites" list and never looked back.
