Guys and gals, I am really excited for spring training this season. And the first day in shells for Auburn was yesterday ... for me, no Viagra will needed this month. Now don't get me wrong because I have limited expectations about what we will learn about the team over the next month. Also, what we do learn is in a bit of a vacuum because doing it in drills does not necessarily mean that one can do it in games against other teams.

That being said, I am looking for leadership, especially on the O line. It all starts there and as I have said many times leadership is action, not a position. I am well pleased with the players we got from the portal, especially on the line. Aubury Jones from East Carolina has apparently won over the locker room with his work ethic, approach to conditioning, and understanding of the offense as it pertains to line play. Our Oline must improve markedly if we are to make a bowl this season. There is reason for us to have cautious optimism in both the Oline play and play calling.

Washington has two big holes to fill in the OL and if the CB's coach doesn't get his sh1t together then he needs to hit the bricks. Other than that UW is preparing for it's big game vs Tulane.

We have more holes to fill than the AVN awards show. Actually I am a little excited about spring ball this season because the boosters are behind our coach. Harsin may very well not have been the answer but he was never given a fair chance there either.

A lot of pressure comes with that job. Bama, LSU, UGA .. year in and year out.
