Its Turkey Week!

This is the one meal that if someone wants it a little different I'll make it.

So I have a daughter that doesnt like smoked turkey. So we roast one. I have in-laws that like smoked turkey but only the white meat. My dad likes ham with a particular flavor profile and crispy smoked dark meat. Etc etc.

but the son and in-laws are comin over,
and they might notice if i were gone for a few days -
 
Mine is scaled way down as its just me and my son, and possible a friend who is a vet who lives alone.. but, I have a boneless turkey breast brining, and will probably smoke it either this afternoon or tomorrow morning, and will make a pan of dressing, I have my moms recipe which was her moms recipe, and even though everybody says this, its the best in the world, moist and delicious, not too much sage, and pairs perfect with turkey and gravy,
and i tried to make my first ever pecan pie earlier this week, Im not much of a baker or desert maker but all the ladies in my life that used to provide my favorite holiday pie have passed on so I had to step up!!
