I've still got a damn good knot but the constant headache has mostly subsided.

Still pretty damn sore from my waist to my chest but it's easing off little by little.

Thanks for asking man.
I don't read every thread here but just opened this one and DAMN!!! Musta been a bitch having that happen. Get better real quick, mKay?!?!

Where is that at?
Just south of me in Gardnerville, NV. It's called "The numbers fire" (yeah, they have odd fire names out here), and it may actually reach my county by tomorrow. There are 600+ Firefighters on scene, and they're actually pushing it back last I heard. Man, when they said this 'could' be the worst fire season on record in 20 years... I kinda chuckled. It's bad every year. Oops... forgot this was 2020, LMAO!!
Red Flag laws out here mean FIRE!! And they are in full effect!

Looks a little close.

See, if I were a terrorist(outside the internet) I would go around the US starting fires in strategic wooded areas. Tough to catch a fire started with a hot coal or cigarette.
Ya know... there is speculation of that? Also, I can see where people have tried, and failed, to get fires started by the roadside. A lot of blackened areas that went out fast as they had nowhere to burn.

The dirty bastards will fight tooth and nail not to pay out and you wind up having to go through multiple third party arbitrators which are overwhelmed.

The insurance companies have all sorts of ridiculous fine print to save them from paying out and they change their policies without notification. My folks had a new $5500 hurricane proof fence destroyed that wasn't covered because it wasn't attached to the block house, not to mention the paneled chain link in the back.

Nasty, nasty people.

Yep, lots of folks learned about the fence not being connected to the house.

Ouch. A merlot(?) in the heat of the afternoon? That's gotta suck. We are headed to NGa next week for our anniversary and the better half wants to go to a wine tasting at one of the local wineries while we're there.
It’s red is all I know. Actually very comfortable afternoon today.

I’m behaving. Not much into wine, but one of the kids joined us. So enjoying The Norman Rockwell moment.

I'm not sure I understand your response. Old school "wine tastings" it was appropriate to taste it and spit it out. By doing that, you don't allow inebriation to interfere with the tasting. If I drink wine, I better be getting a fucking buzz. Else, why waste the alcohol, amirite?

Don’t know anything about old school tasting or wine culture in general. So if my response has you confused, well that’s on me.

I agree, if I’m not catching a buzz, what’s the point. Obviously it appears that I need to stick to beer and bourbon.
