Michigan has spent the last 4 years assuring the fact that they have serious problems in their program. TSUN fans are not gonna be happy with him until year 3. He's a no bullshit guy. If they can put up with him for 2 years, he can fix part of their problems.

It's not the fans, it's the dumbass regents of the University. They are the ones that are a big reason and a former president(Schlissel). Ono came in and pissed them off and it became a power struggle. Acker & Ilitch never wanted Harbaugh from the jump and really were against the football program prior with Schlissel. It's all about $ & politics of course. The dumbass Democrats & dumbass Republicans can't leave college athletic$ alone.

The fans are happy with the hire as far as I can tell. Just think most thought he'd say No bc he was a former right hand man to Urban.
 
That's a good writeup. IMHO if you are just looking at the on-field team, UM may have won the hiring season. If you factor in the situation with the program, it's a slam dunk IF the powers that be want the change.
