Mississippi State's Leach hospitalized in Jackson

Mississippi State football coach Mike Leach was taken to a hospital Sunday after suffering a "personal health issue" at home earlier in the day, the university said.

Have seen where the family is moving in (from wherever they are) to be by his side. This was from a couple of posts I saw last night. Been expecting to hear the worst already today, so I guess we can be hopeful in that regard.

Mike Leach has been an ICON in CFB for decades. His "take" has been both beautiful and hilarious for CFB fans nationwide for most of my life. Most of us could always guess what a given coach was gonna say after a question from the media in a press conference, but Leach........you never knew what was gonna come outta his mouth, but it was absolutely "his truth", every damn time.....and it was beautiful truth.

Mississippi State coach Mike Leach dies at 61

"Mississippi State head coach Mike Leach has died. He was 61.

Leach suffered what the school said were complications from a heart issue on Sunday morning and was transported to a hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Earlier Monday, Mississippi State said Leach was in critical condition and had his family at his side in the hospital. He died Monday night."
