They got North Dakota wrong. North Dakota folks don't give a damn about any other team besides their Bison. ND in North Dakota means NDSU.

The Bison have won 17 national championships and 37 conference championships. They have won nine NCAA Division I AA FCS National Championships between 2011 and 2021. The Bison hold the record for most overall NCAA national championships and the record for the most consecutive championships with five titles between 2011 and 2015 for Division I FCS.

Since 2011, the North Dakota State Bison have a record of 149–12 (.925) which included a record 22-game playoff win streak, making them the most successful college football program in Division I FCS this decade. The Bison are 202–39 (.838) since moving to Division I in 2004. Since 1964, the Bison have had only three losing seasons and an overall record of 551–136–4 (.800) through that 58-year span, one of the best in all of college football. Among FCS programs, North Dakota State has more all-time program wins than any non-Ivy League program, over 750. Of all teams established after 1894, only Oklahoma has won a higher percentage of its games than NDSU. The team also holds the record for the longest winning streak in the Football Championship Subdivision, which stands at 39 consecutive games spanning from 2017 to 2021.[4]

I work with about a half dozen Bama t-shirt fans. None of them have any actual connection to the state of Alabama. It's sad and I call them out every time they open their mouth about CFB.
Im ok with bandwagon fans, Bama is a brand and if there are some lost souls out there that need to belong, I say come on down, take yer shoes off (for @Toadman005 )

I have a serious disrespect for anyone that will climb on board of the best team in the game, then try to talk shit. If you can't find a team when you're a grown man, your Daddy was a horrible person. My Pops died a Bama fan, but he taught me to bleed Red N Black, because "You ALWAYS root for your HOME team."

At the time, $5 deposits were already being actively gambled in New Zealand. That seems like a very small amount. And at the same time it is enough to enjoy the game. Have a look here - https://betpokies.co.nz/low-deposit-casinos/5-dollar-casinos - doesn't look bad, does it?
I've never been a Bisons fan, but I have a lot of respect for this team. Their achievements make me respect them.
Hey, everybody! Are there a lot of Bison fans here?

Not a fan but I have a lot of respect for what that program has accomplished. Sucess of that magnitude at any level is not accidental and should be heralded. These young men aren't playing for the fame and fortune that comes with an NFL signing, they play because they love the game. I don't watch much football that is not involving a P5 program, but I do normally look for them in the scoreboard section on the sports sites.

Edit: Welcome aboard! BTW I am this village's idiot.

Their intent is most likely NDSU. However what most likely happens is that they type in ND in Google and Notre Dame comes up.

Playing for the love of the game is a vocation. Many players play just for the money.
Thank you. What's a village idiot? Your words aren't idiotic. Or do you just live in a village? :)

Don't get me wrong, playing in the NFL is a worthy goal and I laud the players for the work they put in trying to achieve it. They all have to love what they are doing or they wouldn't live that lifestyle. But at NDSU's NCAA level, there is far less business decisions about football careers and that shows.

I am a class clown and quite frankly an old school, third generation jackass with a semi self-depreciating sense of humor. I try to keep it lite but will give a stranger the shirt of my back. A lot of us on this board have met IRL so this is a closer-knit group than you normally see on boards. If you have any questions, feel free to holler.

You probably have a good time here. At the very least, you're having fun :)
Ok, I'll look for threads where I can holler :D
