I get this feeling every year but now I'm just jaded. I'll just wait for them to make headlines.
 
Oak Island debuted its season this past Tuesday and a brief summary is that water testing shows that in four bore holes, the water tests confirm that there is silver and gold underground in the money pit area. Levels of gold leaching are over four times higher than seawater and this is contained into a circle with a diameter of fifty feet. Now the gold could be naturally occurring in the bedrock and further testing is underway.

Of the utmost importance, the government is stepping in with its regulatory power limiting digging along the stone road and most of the island.

Yep. I watched. They also said the science told them that there was a dump truck load of silver.

Watched it a couple days late and I gotta admit that my first thought was the "authorities" saw them honing in on the treasure and wanted more than their agreed upon share. However, with them leaving the money pit area out of the new restrictions, it seems they really are only concerned about preserving history in their latest decisions. So far anyway.
