Why would a Democrat ActBlue Donor register as a Republican in a Closed Primary state like Pennsylvania (one of 10 Closed Primary states)? IMHO the two biggest possibilities are either the town is dominated by Republicans to the point that many seats are unopposed/token resistance ... BTW this is how Alabama was until the 80s, the elections were decided in the Democrat Primaries ... or possibly an Operation Chaos type move. His only vote was during an off POTUS cycle.

Democrats crossed over in droves to vote for Nikki Haley in the primaries but that was in open primary states tmk.
