So an update from my house. My wife is having hip replacement on her right hip Tuesday. Because of her problems she is currently unable to work. That has put all the bill paying on me. I'll be working all the hours I can to take care of that, so no worries. Plant Manager has already authorized me to work however many hours I need to. The timing looks to work out well. She should be able to walk just fine by the time we have our meetup. 6-8 week full recovery. That means we can be there for the week and schedule her left hip replacement shortly after our return home.

I have 2 concerns.

1. Something goes wrong and medically she is unable to make the trip.
2. While I will do what it takes to make sure our bills are paid, I'm not sure we will have the expendable income to actually make the trip.

I said that to say this:

I will do everything in my power to be there. It's what she wants. If for some reason, we can't make it, I want all of you to continue with your plans. Be there. Enjoy each other. Post pictures. Make it a great get together. I promise you won't regret it.

Time to get this thread back on page 1, I'm going to gulf shores this Sunday and staying till Thursday, this trip is with some guys and their wives that I was in the Navy with.. so driving back home on Thursday, will work Friday, Monday and Tuesday,, driving to Boone on Wednesday the 27th and staying till Saturday..
I think ima throw my sleeping bag and a pillow in the back of the truck, I can sleep in the truck bed if I have to.. we should start a list of who and when??
 
so Im retired and have that income (which is enough) but my part time job gets me off the couch and out the house (which is why I do it) but Im not dependent on that job for nothing,, and my boss knows it.. I told him last week of my plans for the next two weeks and said, are you ok with that? he said I don't have choice do I.. lol, I felt kinda bad but fuck it,, he's right :)

I throw out jury nullification ASAP. I get gone pronto. Little anarchist trick. There's a way a jury can actually cause a change in case law for things and that's through nullification. It's kinda funny 😂
