Great humanitarian. I'll always remember him as a great, kind person.Died at the age of 100.
He was a good Georgia boy. Fully disagreed with his politics, but always understood his vision.
"Well done, a good and faithful servant."
Whatever he found out made him quit asking. His faith in God never faltered. It just got changed. He was before I was born. My father always complained about how terrible of a President he was, but about how good of a man he was.
I'll always wonder what the FBI told him when he asked about Aliens that made him break down weeping.
That’s how politics used to work. For the most part. Significant, even vehement, differences of opinion but to a great extent without the broad-brush demonization of opposition we currently see. Losing Jimmy Carter is losing one of the final few links to a different time.Died at the age of 100.

Today's politics are fully reliant on separation of the masses. If they hate each other, they won't see how bad we are fucking them. That’s how politics used to work. For the most part.
