RIP Meatloaf

Meat Loaf was a huge part of my life. I looked for a video to post in his honor for the last 30 minutes. This one was far and away the best choice. The heart of a rocker with an opera voice. RIP, hero of mine. You did it the right way.

terrific performance by a quite talented entertainer -

lot of us wore the hell outta the
bat outta hell album -

obviously, paradise was masterpiece,
but this one is a dandy -

Then, of course, he died of Covid. But.......

Meat Loaf 'seriously ill with COVID-19' before death (msn.com)

Born Marvin Lee Aday, the iconic star - who later changed his first name to Michael - has struggled with ill health in recent years and was previously left unable to stand up for longer than five minutes due to a nerve issue in his back - meaning he was forced to spend most of the time sat down.

He explained at the time: "I don't do drugs. I don't drink. I have a pinched nerve in my back and it feels like when I stand up to walk, that Norman Bates from Psycho is stabbing me in the back. And it hurts like hell."

He also collapsed during performances in 2003, 2011 and 2016.

He was 74, been a fatass his entire life, and was suffering health problems for a couple of decades, but he became another Covid statistic. "Sad" ain't even good enough to explain stupid.
