Like I was back in the ‘70’s.Side to side?
Ingenious
I'm ok with people having differing opinions than me. That's healthy (to a degree). But many on the left have forgotten how to think for themselves, and even worse they've forgotten how to be civil towards those with differing opinions. They want to force their opinion upon others, with force if necessary.
Amen! When I was a kid it was the Right who was derided as being the intolerant authoritarians. Well now they’re all on the Left. On the Right there are open disagreements about major policy issues eg hawkish foreign policy vs avoid foreign wars, immigration eg those who want more legal immigration vs those who want less, tariffs va free trade etc. yet nobody is required to b in ideological lockstep in order to still belong - even if we disagree about done things.
Not so on the Left. You either bow down and submit yourself in utter fealty to woke politics or you’re a HERETIC!!!!! Who must be cast out.
To any who would argue the point, what major Democrats are proud members of the NRA? Which ones won’t go for bathroom confusion? How about Democrats who favor building the wall? Any who say the Gaia Worshipers are ridiculous fear mongers?
See what I mean?

A couple days ago Bernie decided that there should be no billionaires. How do you defend that?
Redistribution is such a stupid idea. For a few reasons.By taking enough of their money and giving it to people that make poor financial decisions with their money as if THAT will fix some of the issues. It's woke, man.
Redistribution is such a stupid idea. For a few reasons.
1 - Generally speaking, poor people are not poor for a lack of money, but for a lack of the ability to make money. They make poor economic decisions. Alternatively, rich people are rich due to their ability to produce goods and services that people want. Within several generations (with exceptions of course) wealth would be distributed in a similar fashion as it it today.
2 - In the short term, removing the incentive of the wealthy to create not only goods and services, but more importantly jobs, would be chaotic to society.
Its a very dumb idea.
