Scale of 1 to 10 your teams chances of a natty this year?

Without being overly homerish. What do you think your teams chance is this year?

For ND I am saying 7 out of 10.

Pluses are the roster and head coach. Along with great position coaches and scheme and a favorable back half of the schedule

Minuses are early season challenges in schedule, new QB, new DC, continual issue with ACL injuries

My season prediction for Iowa is, we will loose one we shouldn't, whether by our own mistakes or the incompetence of officials, (aka Minnesota game and fair catch gate) make a game against a better team interesting for awhile but by late 3rd quarter we can't keep up, and end up 8 and 4 or 7 and 5. So a -1 out of 10.

My best friend is a PSU fan. Even played for them back when. And he has more fear of Iowa / Purdue than of Michigan or Ohio St. It is funny to hear him talk about it
 
USC 1

I feel the important thing this year is for Riley to finally pull his head out of his a** and to learn that football is more than a passing game and to have a positive season where the outlook for the future is bright so that we don’t lose the supporting staff.

Our AD (Jennifer Cohen) has provided him with what i would consider a top of the line supporting system. She has built this staff and brought in a top tier GM in Chad Bowden. Thank you Washington for Cohen and thank you ND for Bowden.

Don’t faint, but on the defensive side of the ball the staff is pretty damn good. Thank you ucla, raiders and the rams for the fine staff we now have.

We will lose a couple, but if Riley has matured, those teams we lose to will know they had a fight on their hands.

I hate that you guys stole Bowden. That guy is a absolutely amazing on the recruiting trail. You guys got one of hos assistants also. Just can't think of his name.

But also it is insane what you guys had to pay to get him is crazy. So with that said. Now more than ever. Fuck USC. And I hope Riley has an ingrown hair every day on his toe.
 
UGA is incredibly young and inexperienced. I guess that's what happens when you have double digit draft picks every year. Kirby reloads every year in his recruiting and fills spots from the portal as needed. Something is different with the roster this year that I haven't seen since 2021. Hunger is the first word that comes to mind. The toughest games on the schedule this season are all in Athens. UGA has a 31 game home winning streak. We'll see how it ends, but every interview I've seen from Kirby......he is giddy. It's like he knows something that no one else knows about this team. What I know about UGA feels like a 6. The way Kirby acts, feels like a 10.

Thanks. I honestly have to believe it was a ironic, perhaps sympathetic award because the only other award I ever earned was reduction in rank, 45 days restriction, 45 days extra duty and forfeiture of 2/3 monthly pay for three months ... and I earned it.
