I say yes after first saying no in the beginning. I think since we have 10 conferences plus the 6 independents (last year) it could be done decently. The biggest problem is the $ that schools do not want to lose out on. Could this be fixed by having conferences pair together in revenue sharing? You would have the SEC w/ Sun Belt, the PAC w/ MWC, B1G w/MAC, ACC w/ revamped AAC, and Big12 w/ revamped CUSA. The independents being sorted out with ND w/ACC and etc. I think some CUSA & AAC swapping could be done for geographic fits. This would be for football only and there would be a G5 playoff as well. The bottom 2 P5s would be replaced with the top 2 G5s in each conference. I think it would make the Kansas & Rutgers improve as they would still be competing for something. The biggest need would be to have G5's still be televised. I'd still keep the G5 vs P5 games for that reason as well as rivalries. The biggest concern is not making the G5 into another FCS.
