So... major life change announcement

I turned in my two week notice today. Too much bullshit and not enough shovels. I'll leave here debt free, house, cars, CC's, all paid off. I'll still have to have a job of some sort, just for running around money, but my life in the rat race is over. I'm going to be semi-retired. Over the course of the next few months I'm going to be busier than a 3 legged cat covering crap, so my time on FQ will be somewhat limited between now and December. I'll still be active, just not everyday active. It took a lot of soul searching for me to come to this decision, but I hope it's for the best. Wish me luck!
Congrats. I hope I'm not far behind you but the stock market has not kind to me in recent years.

Congrats to you! It seems a lot of people work so hard to be able to do that but wait too long to do it .

Enjoy your new life!

I'll still have to have a job, but not a career. No more high stress high anxiety jobs.

I'm doing that right now as I took care of some personal stuff that I wanted to focus on. Its nice to not have a ton of responsibilities, let me tell you. I'll need to get back to the career thing soon though. Or maybe start a new one. I'm torn. You'll transition well.

Thanks. I've been in this high stress environment 19 years. It reached the point where I was going to lose my shit and verbally go off on my managers. It became broken beyond repair. It's time.

Congratulations man! You've climbed the mountain now enjoy the view!

December. I have a lot of loose ends to tie up here in CO before I leave for good. I have to get our rental house ready to turn back over to the property manager, and start ferrying misc shit back to Bama before then. The wife is scheduled for vacation around Christmas, and when her vacation starts I'll be heading back to Alabama for good.
What part of Alabama will you be moving to?

Let me know if you ever make it up to the Huntsville area. ;)
Image result for you sure do have a pretty mouth gif

Calhoun County, Jacksonville.
You will be practically a neighbor. I am working on getting the plug pulled soon. Doing the best job in the country and no love. Went to a seminar with our custodian bank last week. They were talking stats and said their correspondent banks have net unrealized gain of .6 to .8% on their bond portfolios. My gain this year is 16% and 26% overall. The boss said meh some guy in Washington flipped a switch lowering rates to cause that.

But I did get him to agree to send me all my trails and full payout on any new business I do. Either that or I get a new rep # and take it with me. This way I can still have some fun on my terms.
