Those are the days I'll be dreading, especially the twin step daughters. Maybe they'll be smart and just elope, but I doubt it. How does the stepfather aspect work in these scenarios? Thankfully I have at minimum a decade until I have to worry about it and hopefully longer.

Best advice I can think of is to take your cues from the wife. Be supportive, but let HER make the tough call's on the girls else you get the "you're not my real dad" crap.

Lol add in the step son and then our 2 little ones together. My mini will keep me on my toes as he is ornery. The youngest has 18+ plus years until I walk her down the aisle. Some days I wonder if I'll make it that long with all the running and stress they cause lol.

Seems that her "boyfriend" of 10 years and the father of my grandchildren decided to "man up". I been waiting on this for years. How should a father feel about "giving his daughter away"? I'm kind of emotional right now.

My son has twin stepsons(adopting soon) and I am a twin as well. I have one granddaughter that is a toddler and I hope I live long enough to see her start dating. It is going to kill my son and I want to tell the boys how little a deterrent a life sentence is to me.
