When Yeller Wood fires Harsin, I will be pissed. I looked into McGee a little and would be pleased if we go that route.

Honestly, I think Harsin is a good coach, but not a fit. He’ll never get the buy in he needs from the power brokers on the plains. And I’m not talking about the board of trustees nor the administration.

I agree. Gus was fired largely for not developing linemen and quarterbacks. Add to that the natural exodus created when a coach is fired and the cupboard was really bare. First season was a covid season and before Harsin's first recruiting class is set, Yeller Wood stages an attempted coup via smear campaign which had an impact on recruiting. Yeller Wood has made sure that Harsin fielded a team with less than the former coach had and has used the results to run off a quality AD and will run off Harsin too. I love Auburn and believe we are going to get what we deserve by bowing down to Yeller Wood.

McGee has spent his entire career seeking the opportunity to be HC for his alma mater. Being from Columbus, GA, right across the line from Auburn, he grew up an Auburn fan. He's done his time at multiple locations and done the work needed to be a serious contender for any opening. So far, he's shown zero interest when his name was mentioned. Give him an Auburn offer, I honestly think he would do it for free.

I hate that I feel that way, because UGA would lose one of it's best puzzle pieces, and he would put in the work and recruiting to compete with Bama and UGA. Get them idiots out of his way and McGee could be the best thing that ever happened on the Plains.
